Social DJ: Privacy Policy
Jelly AI Labs, Inc. | socialdj.com
Effective: Sep 1, 2026 | Last updated: Sep 1, 2026
Privacy policies usually start with “we care about your privacy” and then become unreadable on purpose. Here is the actual deal: we need certain information to make your creation, we publish what you tell us to publish, and we keep what is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and protect the Service.
This Policy explains what information enters Social DJ, what we do with it, who helps us process it, what may become public, how long we may keep it, and what choices you have.
Social DJ is operated by Jelly AI Labs, Inc. (“Jelly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to socialdj.com and related websites, applications, and services (the “Service”). It covers AI song generation, result pages, profile-based input, photo and transcribed-voice input, payments, communications, reports, and removal requests.
WHAT WE DO: You choose the source inputs, and we process them or help facilitate their processing by our technology partners in order to create and deliver the requested creation. Section 2 explains what we collect, Section 4 explains provider processing, and Section 5 explains what becomes public.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO: We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use User Content or Generated Content to train Jelly’s own general-purpose AI models.
We may collect account and contact information to deliver you a copy of your song and cover in a secure way and inform you about certain actions we recommend you take. The source inputs and creative instructions you provide (“User Content”) may include photos, public profile or post URLs, written or spoken context, names, facts, prompts, creative choices, voice audio submitted for transcription, and resulting transcripts. This information helps us properly analyze, to the best of Social DJ’s technical capabilities, what kind of song you are looking to generate, and we use it to generate an original song and digital album cover. We also use your information to facilitate payment, provide order updates, process recipient information and support messages, and respond to privacy, copyright, abuse, or removal requests.
We also collect the content we generate for you, including lyrics, song audio, covers, public pages, and related metadata (“Generated Content”), along with your uploaded content and directions, so you can return to your generated song and album covers, see the source content used, and share them. These artifacts are made for sharing, and we try our best to reduce friction when you share them with others. Stripe or other payment gateway providers and the merchant of record process payment-card details; Jelly does not store full card numbers.
We highly recommend that you keep the deeply private stuff out of the song machine. Jelly does not need you to submit government identification numbers, financial-account credentials, medical records, precise health information, criminal-history records, faceprints, voiceprints, or other biometric identifiers. Do not include this sensitive information, and avoid including full legal names or other identifying information unless reasonably necessary for your requested creation. If you submit sensitive information anyway because you like living life on the privacy edge, just know that Jelly and its service providers may process it as described in this Policy, and you remain responsible for having any rights and consents legally required to provide it.
We collect records of your account, orders, payments, song purchases, generation, delivery, downloads, sharing, publication choices, reports, deletion, takedowns, and enforcement. Authorized personnel may access submitted inputs through restricted administrative tools when reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, or enforce the Service.
By purchasing, you create or associate a Social DJ account with the email address and order information you provide and agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. We retain records of the Terms and Privacy Policy in effect at the time of your purchase.
We and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information about how you access and interact with the Service. We use cookies, analytics, session replay, and similar technologies to operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the Service. These technologies and related logs may incidentally capture limited portions of content. Where required by law, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies and provide choice controls.
When you provide a public profile or page link, we collect the submitted URL or handle and retrieve public content from that location, such as recent posts and images, as reasonably needed for the requested creation and any purchaser-directed display. Service providers may help retrieve this material on Jelly’s behalf.
Depending on how you use the Service, California-law categories may include identifiers; commercial information; internet or network activity; general geolocation; audio and visual information; user-submitted content; recipient information; and inferences needed to provide, secure, moderate, or support the Service. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We use information to provide, personalize, host, display, deliver, secure, support, and improve the Service; create and manage accounts; process payments and transactions; transcribe voice notes and retrieve content from submitted links; operate AI generation and moderation; deliver communications; prevent fraud and abuse; investigate reports; enforce the Terms; comply with law; and protect Jelly, users, others, and the Service.
When you submit content, we process it and share it with AI and infrastructure providers as needed to provide, operate, secure, and deliver the Service. Jelly does not use User Content or Generated Content to train its own general-purpose AI models. Just remember, though, that depending on their terms and settings, our providers may process, retain, review, or use content to operate, secure, evaluate, train, develop, or improve their services and models.
We disclose information to service providers and transaction partners that help us provide, operate, host, generate, deliver, support, secure, and process payments for the Service.
We may also disclose information to recipients or the public at your direction; with your consent; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, or similar transaction; in aggregated or de-identified form; as required by law or legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect Jelly, our users, others, or the Service.
For purchases processed through Stripe Managed Payments, the Stripe affiliate identified at checkout acts as merchant of record and independently controls payment-transaction data for checkout, receipts, taxes, transaction support, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. Jelly controls content, account, generation, fulfillment, safety, and support data. We may share order, delivery, refund, fraud, and complaint evidence with Stripe, card networks, banks, and fraud vendors.
A Social DJ result page that is public may be viewed or shared by anyone. If you choose to display submitted photos or source URLs, they become part of the public result page. Public content may also be downloaded, copied, screenshotted, cached, or stored by other people, third parties, or automated services. Jelly does not control or take responsibility for how third parties use or retain public content. Deleting a creation removes the Social DJ page and begins deletion from systems under Jelly’s control, subject to Section 9. It does not remove copies, downloads, or cached versions controlled by others.
Jelly does not use submitted photos for identity verification or facial recognition and does not create, store, sell, or use faceprints or facial-geometry identifiers. Relevant providers may process images as described in Section 4.
Jelly uses a submitted voice note to create a transcript as creative context and does not retain its own stored copy of the raw audio after transcription. A transcription provider may process or temporarily retain the audio as described in Section 4. We do not clone the speaker’s voice, create or store a voiceprint, or use the recording to identify a person.
Where permitted by law, by purchasing you agree that Jelly may send you promotional emails about Jelly products until you unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Where local law requires separate consent or a checkout-time opt-out, we send marketing only after meeting that requirement.
Privacy laws may give you rights over your information, including to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain uses; limit certain uses of sensitive information; or complain to a regulator. To make a request, use available account controls or email privacy@socialdj.com. You may authorize an agent to submit a request for you, but we may require proof of that authority and may also need to verify your identity. If we deny a request and applicable law gives you a right to appeal, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within the time required by law and, if we deny the appeal, tell you how to contact the appropriate state attorney general or regulator. Legal exceptions can apply.
If you are depicted, named, heard, or otherwise identified in a creation, or are the parent or guardian of a depicted minor, you may request access, correction, objection, removal, or deletion whether or not you have an account. Email privacy@socialdj.com for privacy requests or support@socialdj.com for abuse, urgent removal, or safety concerns. Include the exact Social DJ URL, identify the material and your relationship to it, explain the request, and provide a reliable way to contact you. We may verify the request and preserve records where reasonably necessary.
To request removal of a real or AI-generated intimate image shared without consent, email support@socialdj.com with: your name and reliable contact information; the exact URL or file location; identification of the depicted person and confirmation that you are that person or are authorized to act for them; a good-faith statement that the intimate image was shared without consent; and your typed or electronic signature. After receiving a valid request, we will promptly and in accordance with applicable law remove or disable access to the identified material, make reasonable efforts to identify and remove or disable access to known identical copies on Jelly-controlled systems, and notify the requester as required by law.
California residents may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information; opt out of sale or sharing, which we do not conduct; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service. Residents of other states may have comparable rights.
The Service is directed to adults. Purchasing, account creation, and creation features are limited to people who are at least 18 years old or have reached the local age of majority, if higher.
If we learn that a purchaser is under 18, we may disable generation and close or restrict the account. If we obtain actual knowledge that a child under 13 directly submitted personal information, we will stop collection, isolate and delete the information, and take any other action required by law. If we learn of apparent child sexual exploitation, we may remove and preserve material and report it to relevant government authorities when legally required. Parents and guardians may contact privacy@socialdj.com.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for account, delivery, support, security, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, complaint, dispute, legal, and backup purposes relating to the songs and album covers you generated using uploaded information and content that you agree to provide and agree that you have permission to use. Information supporting an available creation, including submitted images, source URLs, written or transcribed context, settings, and outputs, may be retained while the creation remains available.
When you delete a creation or account, we promptly unpublish associated pages and begin deleting related information from Jelly-controlled active systems and controllable providers. Backup copies and limited transaction, tax, fraud, security, marketing-suppression, takedown, dispute, legal, and enforcement records may remain longer. We cannot delete copies held by third parties, and we do not promise a fixed deletion deadline.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we try our best. The person promising “military-grade vibes” is usually the person you should worry about. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to address an imminent threat of death or serious physical harm. Law enforcement requests: legal@socialdj.com.
Jelly is based in the United States. Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. Mandatory local rights continue to apply.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, laws, or data practices change. For material changes, we provide notice and identify when the new version takes effect as required by law. If a change requires consent, we ask for it.
